- Microsoft AI Microsoft announces standalone Copilot purchasing and billing changes
Microsoft announced that Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Business offers will become purchasable without a qualifying Microsoft 365 base subscription on 1 December. Usage-based billing will also become the default for new Copilot Business CSP subscriptions that day.
- OpenAI OpenAI sponsors Rosalind access for U.S. university labs
OpenAI announced the Rosalind Academic Plan, offering eligible U.S. university labs up to 30 Business Standard seats free for up to 12 months. Access to GPT-Rosalind, its specialized life-sciences model, requires trusted-access approval.
- Anthropic Anthropic gives METR internal access for independent evaluations
Anthropic said it began giving METR researchers employee-like access to internal tools, facilities and model-safety information. METR can publish its assessments without an Anthropic veto, subject to narrowly defined redactions.
