Salesforce and AWS expand CRM and agent integrations
AWS and Salesforce announced integrations spanning CRM workflows, Slack, Zero Copy data sharing and contact-centre voice. The partnership also brings Amazon Bedrock model access to Agentforce.
- For Salesforce–AWS estates, assess whether the expanded Zero Copy integrations can replace existing CRM data pipelines before budgeting for new data movement.
- Before enabling AWS agents in Slack, define which CRM actions they may execute and which require human approval.
- For Agentforce model selection, compare Bedrock options on Czech-language accuracy, processing location and total inference cost.

Salesforce and Google Cloud connect infrastructure and agents
Salesforce and Google Cloud announced an expanded partnership connecting Hyperforce infrastructure, Agentforce and Gemini Enterprise. The announcement also covers Tableau analytics and Commerce Cloud integrations.
- For joint Salesforce–Google Cloud deployments, test whether shared CRM access preserves user permissions across Agentforce and Gemini Enterprise.
- Treat planned European Hyperforce regions, including Germany, as a procurement dependency rather than an immediate data-residency guarantee.
- For Tableau users, pilot analytics access through Gemini Enterprise against existing reporting workflows before committing to broader deployment.

Google Cloud previews BigQuery cross-cloud caching and connections
Google Cloud announced Borderless Lakehouse enhancements covering cross-cloud caching and BigQuery connections to open-format data in Amazon S3 and Azure Storage. The preview targets query performance and data-transfer costs.
- Benchmark representative queries against existing pipelines to establish whether caching reduces total costs after storage, compute and transfer charges.
- Map cache locations and retention settings before using Czech customer or employee data across cloud boundaries.
- Keep initial deployments in a controlled pilot until preview limitations and production support meet your service requirements.

EU AI Board reviews transparency and AI literacy implementation
The European Commission reported that the AI Board's ninth meeting reviewed AI Act implementation. Discussions covered AI literacy recommendations and measures supporting transparency obligations, including codes of practice and guidelines.
- Review customer-facing agents for applicable AI-interaction disclosures rather than assuming the platform vendor handles every obligation.
- Ask suppliers how they support synthetic-content marking and disclosure requirements relevant to your deployment.
- Assign ownership of role-specific AI literacy training and retain completion records within the enterprise AI governance programme.
