This week expands Copilot capabilities across Teams meetings, Copilot Notebooks and OneNote, and adds new admin controls and analytics.
Teams Facilitator gains proactive knowledge-gap detection and resolution, and Teams Rooms adds AI-powered notes for in-person meetings with Facilitator. Copilot Notebooks now suggests relevant artifacts, with the Copilot Notebook experience also arriving in OneNote on Mac and new Copilot features in OneNote Mobile (Android). Admins can now configure domain exclusion for web grounding (GA) and target Copilot release preferences using Entra ID groups, while Copilot Studio analytics adds custom metrics (GA).

Microsoft Teams is adding a Facilitator capability that detects when participants ask questions or express uncertainty and proactively surfaces answers using web search in meeting chat. This can change in-meeting information flow and how users rely on chat for real-time answers.
